Celebrity Bodyguard Christopher Britto to Present First Annual Benefit for Dreem Chasers

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2009 -- Christopher Britto, entrepreneur and provider of personal security to many of Hollywood's elite, will be holding the first annual fundraiser for Dreem Chasers, a non-profit organization fostering community-based projects that benefit at-risk youth. Hosted by actress Megan Good (The Unborn, Saw V), the invitation-only event takes place May 14th in Los Angeles and doubles as a birthday celebration for Britto, whose client roster includes the likes of John Travolta and Omarion.

Britto commented, "At the age of fourteen, I didn't know where my life was headed and I appreciate having a similar youth program like this available to me. These programs give young people a positive focus away from the influences of crime and teach them to apply themselves and achieve goals."

Dreem Chasers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing at-risk youth with opportunities to enhance themselves through community-based programs nationwide. The organization employs specialists including teachers, social workers, law enforcement professionals, therapists and other local advisors to develop projects targeting homelessness, gang and drug prevention, HIV and STD awareness, transitional housing for foster children, summer employment job fairs and self-esteem building challenges.

Britto serves on the Board of Deans at Jesus Phi Christ, a Christian service fraternity which seeks to prepare young men to assume leadership roles in their communities. Dreem Chasers has worked closely with Jesus Phi Christ in the development of programs designed to benefit inner-city youth.

Proceeds from the event will help fund various initiatives of Dreem Chasers. Invited celebrity attendees will include many from Britto's personal rolodex, which includes Wesley Jonathan, Tia & Tamara Mowry, Cory Hardrict, Melvin Jackson Jr., Teddy Riley, Kim Whitley, Olivia Jones, Sicily, Angell Conwell & Chico Benymon.
